- February: Claudia Ituarte-Lima took part in a conversation with Emily Jones in the Weaving Paths Podcast by the EULAS – Jean Monnet Network Environmental democracy and EU–Latin America cooperation for just green transitions.

- December 16: Claudia Ituarte-Lima participated as speaker to a session on Beyond Belém – Hope and Action for Forests, Climate and Livelihoods, organized by Focali research network in collaboration with SEI, the Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiative (SIANI), Trase – Intelligence for Sustainable Trade, and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI).
- December 9-10, Claudia Ituarte-Lima was speaker at the panel “Participatory Rights for the Environment” to the Swedish Forum for Human Rights (MR-dagarna) organized by WWF.
Claudia Ituarte-Lima participated also as speaker at the Children’s right to a healthy Environment by Save the Children and Save the Children’s Youth League - November 14, Claudia Ituarte-Lima participated as speaker at “The Need to recognize environmental human rights defenders in UNFCCC Processes” at an official side-event at UNFCCC-COP30 in Belem, Brazil. Presentation; “Legal Advances, Rising Threats: Why protecting the rights of defenders matter for a Living Earth”.

- October 17, Claudia Ituarte-Lima took part as speaker at the “Journey with Environmental Defenders- from Personal to Planetary Scales” organized by Focali – Forests, Climate & Livelihoods, RWI and others, at Universum, Gothenburg, Sweden.
- The Defendbio legal clinic hosted by RWI and Sociology of Law Department together organised together with In collaboration with Hållbart Universitet, The Association for Foreign Affairs (UPF), Global Network for the Study of Human Rights and the Environment (GNHRE) an event on Defending a Living Earth: Transnational action beyond COP30 including a Canadian Parliamentarian and civil society organizations.

- April 9, Claudia Ituarte-Lima participated in Biodiversa+’s kick-off meeting: BiodivNBS, where newly launched projects were presented. Claudia introduced the DEFEND-BIO project and explored synergies with other initiatives. Check out about the meeting and her intervention here. PI Liliana Lizarazo Rodríguez and Senior Lecturer Ana María Vargas Falla also took part, presenting DEFEND-BIO as a pioneering project that bridges knowledge, policy, and practice.
